1968 Held in Nippon Budokan

1975 Okinawa International Maritime Exposition The Pageant was the main event of the Okinawa Maritime Expo, with the delegates displaying their magnificent costumes and generating an atmosphere of great excitement at the Maritime Expo venue.

1985 The 25th Pageant was held to mark the finale of the International Science and Technology Exposition (known as the Tsukuba Science Expo). Drew an audience of 5,000 people.

1990 This year’s event was the 30th Anniversary Pageant, with delegates taking part as “Goodwill Ambassadors of Flowers” at the International Garden and Greenery Exposition (Osaka Flower Expo).
